Nichole Miller is an experienced Pediatric Clinical Nurse Specialist (APRN) with expertise in pediatric, adult and primary care case management. She received her Post-Master’s Doctor of Nursing Practice from University of North Florida. Initially her career centered on health maintenance in underserved populations and pediatric clinical care. More recently, her focus has been developing and mentoring the next generation of healthcare professionals. Her accomplishments include implementing a successful certified nursing assistant program, collaborating on a licensed practical nurse program, and running the infection prevent program during the Covid-19 pandemic. Nichole’s current focus is engaging, training, and retaining a high performing nursing staff.
Joanne has been practicing nursing for 36 years. Receiving her BSN from University of Delaware and graduated from Widener University Summa Cum Laude with a MSN, Specialty Focus Nursing Administration. Joanne has worked in the specialty area Rehabilitation Nursing for 30+ years and in the senior nurse leader executive role for over 23 years. In these roles she has led teams through patient care redesign, various state, local and specialty organization certifications and accreditations, and created new leadership teams. This includes leading a freestanding Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospital through a successful quest to achieve and maintain ANCC Magnet Designation. She has several publications in nursing journals and has lectured on a variety of rehabilitation nursing and leadership topics at state and national venues. Joanne is the Senior Vice President for Nursing /CNE at Brooks Rehabilitation, Jacksonville Florida. There she collaboratively provides clinical, financial and administrative oversight and leadership for nursing services across all of the Brooks Rehabilitation sites: Joanne is a member of the AONL, ARN ,FSARN Florida State Northeast Chapter of ARN (past- president),NADONA,FADONA. Joanne serves on the Board of the Jacksonville CIL and is an appointed member of the Florida Center for Nursing.
