Change is everywhere, affecting our professional and personal lives. Today, COVID-19 has changed the way deliver care and care for ourselves. Nurses have the knowledge and skill to be change agents, as evidenced by their roles during the current pandemic.
This interactive presentation will engage attendees in understanding approaches to change and the role of the change agent. Stories of change in healthcare settings will illustrate success and challenges.
At the end of this presentation, attendees are challenged to cast a stone and create ripples of change as reflected by Mother Teresa who said "I alone cannot change the world, but I can cast a stone across the waters to create many ripples."
