With extensive expertise in wound care and pressure injury prevention, Julie serves as a passionate advocate for improving patient outcomes through evidence-based practices. As the co-chair of the System HAPI Committee and chair of the TIRR HAPI Committee, Julie has led multidisciplinary initiatives to reduce hospital-acquired pressure injuries (HAPIs) across the health system. Her dedication to education and quality improvement is evident in her development of innovative tools, such as the Braden Cheat Sheet, designed to enhance staff awareness and foster a culture of prevention.
