Music has been acknowledged as having healing properties for centuries. Further research has provided evidence for Neurologic Music Therapy, which utilizes elements of music in unique ways to train or retrain the brain to impact functional outcomes. In this presentation, I will give specific research, case examples, resources, and demonstrations to show the evidence-based use of music in neurorehabilitation. I encourage nurses of all levels to attend this presentation to increase awareness of and learn how to advocate for Music Therapy in each of your settings!
