Dr. Pietsch is a proud certified rehabilitation registered nurse, having obtained her initial certification in  1987. With decades of practice in acute rehabilitation and skilled nursing facilities, Dr. Pietsch has worked with patients in clinical practice and nurses in her administrative roles. After earning her PhD in nursing education from Widener University, Dr. Pietsch transitioned from clinical practice to educating nursing students. Her primary focus and teaching passion is linking evidence-based practice to nurses providing clinical care.
