Self-efficacy theory has been receiving much attention as a predictor of behavioral change and self-care management in health-related and educational research. This presentation is a necessity for both clinical and educational nurses as it will take a deeper dive into the role of self-efficacy in the recovery process and management of chronic medical conditions. It will empower nurses with tools, tips and ideas to provide self-efficacy interventions during their time with patients and their support team. It also will provide a more global picture of the importance of inter-personal self-efficacy as a nurse and how this contributes to job satisfaction, confidence and career development..
