This course includes two recorded videos. You will need to review all of this course content, then receive a 70% or higher passing grade on a quiz, and lastly complete an evaluation to receive your certificate and complete this course. You will have access to this course for 1 year, starting on the purchase date.
This Skin Integrity course is very comprehensive. It includes training on skin breakdown prevention, systemic and physical causes for pressure injuries, wound assessment including wound staging, wound documentation, and treatment of pressure injuries.

Michele C Cournan, ANP-BC, DNP, FNP, RN, CRRN
Dr. Michele Cournan’s rehabilitation nursing career spans over twenty-five years. Currently she is the Quality/Risk Manager and an Adult Nurse Practitioner at Sunnyview Rehabilitation Hospital. She is also on the faculty at Excelsior College and Walden University and is a legal nurse consultant. Dr. Cournan has been a member of ARN for twenty-five years serving in Chapter leadership roles (Western NY and NENY Chapters) and on the national ARN Board. She is currently the president of ARN. She has taught the PRN course, is a reviewer for RNJ, chaired the Health Policy, and has presented at various ARN events. She is also an ARN President's Award winner. Dr. Cournan has published on bladder management, sexuality, and falls prevention and in multiple editions of The Specialty Practice of Rehabilitation Nursing: A Core Curriculum.
