Pediatric rehabilitation nurses must have in depth knowledge of developmental theories and normal development to promote developmental milestones. Pediatric rehabilitation provides a variety of different and often rare, diagnoses and conditions. This course provides valuable information about caring for children in the rehabilitation setting including identifying the impact of disability on developmental tasks, common pediatric conditions seen in the rehab setting, and long-term planning for children with disabilities.

Natasha Flurry RN, MBA, CRRN, CBIS, CPPS is a Clinical Director at INTEGRIS Jim Thorpe Rehabilitation Hospital. She has been an active member of ARN for more than a decade. Natasha provides support to ARN through Core Curriculum editing, volunteering for focus groups, poster presentation judge and Role Award evaluator. Her most recent accomplishment is becoming a Certified Profession in Patient Safety (CPPS). Natasha and her husband Hans have an active 3 year old, Olivia, that keeps them VERY busy.
