Foundations Module 4.1: Rehabilitation in Children

Pediatric rehabilitation nurses must have in depth knowledge of developmental theories and normal development to promote developmental milestones. Pediatric rehabilitation provides a variety of different and often rare, diagnoses and conditions. This course provides valuable information about caring for children in the rehabilitation setting including identifying the impact of disability on developmental tasks, common pediatric conditions seen in the rehab setting, and long-term planning for children with disabilities.
