This course provides a plethora of information about Caring for Cancer Patients; Cancer Rehabilitation and the role of the rehabilitation nurse. Training includes major cancer treatments, treatment-related effects, detailed cancer rehabilitation information, dual screening and assessment, and interventions.

Beverly S Reigle, PhD, RN
Beverly S. Reigle is an Associate Professor, Emerita at the University of Cincinnati, College of Nursing and was the Director of the Cancer Survivorship Program, University of Cincinnati Cancer Institute. She received her PhD in Nursing from The University of Texas in Austin, MS in Nursing from Texas Woman’s University; BS in Nursing from Wheaton College, and diploma in Nursing from West Suburban Hospital School of Nursing. Dr. Reigle has taught for over 28 years in a university setting. She has served in leadership positions in multiple professional organizations and is currently a member of the ARN Board of Directors. Dr. Reigle has conducted research and published in reference journals on the role of rehabilitation and fitness exercise in breast cancer survivors. Her most recent awards include the 2016 ARN President’s Award, 2018 Sigma Theta Tau International Beta Iota Chapter Legacy Award, and the 2018 ARN Editor’s Choice Award.
